The Leica Society (TLS) was formed in 2006 by the coming together of two of the longest established groups with a passion for things Leica. The LPP (Leica Postal Portfolio) and the LHS (Leica Historical Society). We are based in Britain, although the membership is drawn from many countries around the globe. The TLS is independent of both the Leica camera company and Leica Society International (LSI) and is run entirely by volunteers.
The Leica Society UK’s ambition is to bring together photographers of all skill levels. To amplify a shared passion for precision Leica photography equipment. Dedication to the superiority of the Leica brand and its aesthetic. Also the ambition to share our unique views of the world through the lenses of our cameras.
